Why this feels different

For many people, relaxation doesn’t come from trying to calm the mind.

It comes when the body starts to feel safe enough to let go.

That’s what this work is based on.

My experience

For years, I couldn’t relax.

Even when I was exhausted, my body stayed tense and my mind kept going.

What changed things for me was not trying harder to calm my thoughts, but learning how to work with the body instead.

I’ve been practicing this approach  for over 10 years, and this is what I teach.

About this work

This is a simple, body-based approach to stress and sleep.

When we are stressed, the body often stays tense.

Through gentle movement and awareness, the body begins to release that tension.

As the body relaxes, it naturally starts to feel more at ease.

When the body feels at ease, the mind can begin to settle on its own.

This is not about forcing the mind to be calm, but allowing the body to relax so that a sense of calm can arise naturally.

Who this is for

This is for people who:

  • Feel constantly tense or stressed  

  • Struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep  

  • Have tried to relax but found it difficult  

You don’t need any experience.

This is a practical approach you can apply in daily life.

About me

I’m Shantana, a meditation coach with over 10 years of personal practice, a RYT200 (Yoga Alliance) yoga teacher, and I also hold a graduate degree from Kyoto University.

I struggled with insomnia and anxiety for many years, and this work comes directly from that experience of recovery.

I have trained in meditation through structured teacher training, and spent time practicing in meditation centers in India and Europe.

My approach is simple and practical — focused on helping the body relax so the mind can settle naturally.
